Since the establishment of these schools in 2009, MFN has been managing free and quality education to the children from martyr families, i.e. children of members of the People’s Liberation Armies who died, disappeared by the state or injured during the Peoples’ War that lasted for ten years (1996-2006). In addition to the children from the martyr families, about 15 percent students are admitted among the poorest and lower cast families from the locals.

The team held a meeting at MFN office, Balaju on 4th January 2016 and briefed about the observations and the issues in the schools. Chairman Mr. Ek raj Bhandari, Office manager Kantiram Dungana and Account manager Devraj Dhungana, Sanjay Aryal and Dr. Krishna Aryal were present in the meeting.
